Since its incorporation in August 2004, and the formation of the Board of Directors, SEEF Limited has been experiencing considerable growth. The project cost of QR 1,053 million ($288 million), was capitalized on 31 March 2006.
This state-of-the-art plant has a nominal capacity of 100,000 tons per year, and this capacity is expected to generate solid earnings for UDC in the upcoming years.
A number of agreements have been signed with QP and its affiliates to provide feedstock for the plant. QP is responsible for the operation and maintenance of the plant as well as the marketing of its products.
UDC has funded its capital requirements for SEEF Limited through a combination of company equity and a special project debt facility. |
